Harambee Stars has unveiled Turkish Engin Firat as the new head coach on a two-month contract following the exit of Jacob'Ghost' Mulee.
The 51-year-old was last at the Moldovan national team where he failed to pick any win in his guide of 11 matches but only registered two draws notably against Russia.
" I am motivated and excited about the challenge.I am confident that we can get the positive results we desire in this qualification campaign." said Firat.
He previously coached Bundesliga side, Eintracht Frankfurt and also served as the assistant coach of the Iranian national team under Ali Daei.
Firat will be assisted by Kennedy Odhiambo and William Muluya.
At the same time, Jerim Onyango has appointed the new goalkeeping coach.
