The total number of confirmed Covid-19 infections in Africa has reached 8,414,571 as of Friday afternoon the Africa Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said.
At the same time, Covid-19 related deaths across the content stand at 215,042.
Some of 7,786,325 patients have recovered from the disease across Africa.
South Africa, Morocco, Tunisia and Ethiopia are among the countries that have registered the most caseload in the continent.
