Kenya Simbas head coach Odera resigns

Paul Odera has resigned as the Kenya Men's National 15s rugby team,  Simbas.

Kenya Rugby Union ( KRU) on Tuesday confirmed Odera's exit.

"The Kenya Rugby Union Board has accepted Paul Odera's resignation from his role as Head Coach of the Kenya Men's National Fifteens Team, The Simbas."

"The Kenya Rugby Union would like to extend its sincere thanks to Paul for his exemplary service during his time with the Kenya U20s and most recently, the Simbas. We wish him well in his future pursuits," said KRU.

His resignation comes weeks after leading Kenya Simbas to 2022 Rugby Africa Cup qualifiers.

The former under 20 coach was appointed Simbas head coach in 2019 following the exit of New Zealander Ian Snook.
