Former Liverpool boss Rafael Benitez is set to be appointed as Everton's new manager next week.
The Spaniard is expected to pen his contract at the Toffee's in the next few days with reports indicating the club will provisionally confirm his arrival on Tuesday.
The 61-year-old tactician will succeed Carlo Ancelotti who left Goodison Park to return to Real Madrid earlier in the month.
Benitez return will come 11 years after he left Anfield where he spent six years as Liverpool boss winning the Champions League and FA Cup.
He also coached New Castle, Areeeal Madrid, Chelsea as their interim manager in the 2012/13 season Valencia, Inter Milan and Napoli.
During his stint at Napoli, he won the Coppa Italia.
