President Uhuru Kenyatta has appointed a nine-member select panel to recruit five new commissioners of the Teachers Service Commission.
In a gazette notice issued on Saturday, Kenyatta appointed Thomas Koyier to led the panel.
Other members of the panel include; Mary Gatura, Charles Mutinda, Njoki Kahiga, Margaret Geneo, Richard Kibagendi, Hellen Misenda, Eva Nyoike and Stanley Waudo.
The panel will seek to replace commissioners Beatrice Adu, Mbarak Twahir, Kinoti Imanyara, Tache Goleo and Albert Ekirapa.
In May, President Kenyatta appointed Dr Jamleck Muturi as the TSC chairman and Alfred Otieno as the member of the commission.
