A 57-year-old man allegedly killed his 28-year-old
nephew in a suspected love triangle in Ihore Sub-location, Kuria West Sub-county, Migori County.
Police in the county are in pursuit of the suspect
identified as Amos Boke who is said to have committed the crime on Friday night after a brief altercation with the nephew identified as Thomas Wambua
According to a police report, Boke shot Wambua
the chest with an arrow and Wambua died on the spot.
Preliminary investigations established that the suspect killed the nephew on allegation that he had been in a secret love affair with the suspect's younger wife, Kuria West Sub-county police commander Cleti Kimaiyo said.
According to the police boss, the incident occurred at around 8.30 pm within their homestead and the suspect escaped immediately but a manhunt for him is underway.
The deceased’s body was taken to Akidiva Mindira hospital mortuary awaiting the conclusion of the investigations.
