Zaha likely to miss Crystal Place match against Brighton

Last Night, Crystal Palace attacker Wilfred Zaha was forced off the pitch with a suspected hamstring injury that he developed during the match against Newcastle.

Therefore, come February 22nd, Graham Potter's side is likely to face Crystal Palace without one of their best players.

Zaha has already netted nine goals in the Premier League, this season showing how he has been in great form.

The likelihood of the Palace attacker missing the "derby day" is good news for the Brighton camp as the Ivorian has a decent record against Albion.

In only 13 appearances against the Seagulls, Zaha has scored five and assisted five goals.

Zaha's injury places Palace manager Roy Hodgson on a awkward position as he waits for the update.

Depending on the severity ,Hamstring injuries take between three weeks to three months to heal.

"We have to get it assessed first of all, so that will take some time and I don't think we'll know the extent of the injury before Thursday," Hodgson said, speaking after the Newcastle game.
