Gor Mahia Striker Nicholas Kipkurui has ditched the perennial champions for the Military Side , Ulinzi FC.
Confirming Kipkurui's exit, Gor Chairman Ambrose Rachier said the player had requested for a release letter but had not revealed his next move.
Rachier however said they received information that he was part of the recruits who were recently absorbed by the Kenya Defence Forces and will be joining the military side.
" He requested for a release letter which we processed and gave him and we have now confirmed he has been given a job by the KDF, " Rachier said.
Kipkurui who joined Gor in 2018 from Kericho based Zoo FC was instrumental during Gor's continental assignment as his late header contributed to the elimination of Rwandan Side APR from 2021 CAF champions league.
