Kenya's Agnes Tirop is the new World Record Holder in 10Km road race after clocking 30:01 during the Adizero Road to Record Event held in Germany on Sunday.
The event held in Herzogenaurach saw athletes participate in 10Km and 5Km road races.
Tirop who finished fourth in the 5000m during the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games took charge of the in the last 2 km breaking the record set by Paula Radcliffe's of 30:21 clocked at the San Juan, Puerto Rico in 2003.
Sheila Chepkirui came second in 30:17 while Nancy Jelangat came third in 30:50.
In the men's race Rhonex Kipruto won after clocking 26:43, the second-fastest time this season ahead of Ethiopia's Tadese Worku who clocked 26:56 while Kennedy Kimutai sealed the podium in 27:01.
