KAM board confirmed the appointment of Mr Mwangi a career executive director boosting of over 20 years of experience in fields including public policy, government relations, stakeholder engagement, communications and business development.
He previously worked with Bolt, IBM and Kenya Airways in various capacities.
Mr. Mwangi holds a Masters’ Degree in Public Policy and Management from the Strathmore Business School and a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Nairobi.
He replaces Phillis Wakiaga, who recently ended a long-stint at the helm at the association.
The current Interim CEO Tobias Alando has been appointed the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and will be tasked with managing the association’s day-to-day administrative and operational functions.
