The petition was filed by the coalitions lawyers on Monday morning via the courts online filling system before presenting physical copy minutes to 1pm.
Azimio led counsel James Orengo claimed the Raila Odinga led alliance had enough evidence in the petition to prove misconduct by the electoral commission after the August 9th presidential election that resulted in a narrow win for Deputy President William Ruto.
The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission's results said Ruto of the United Democratic Alliance had won with 7.1 million votes which is 50.49% of the against Odinga who got 6.9 million votes which was 48.85%.
"We have a watertight case and we're hopeful that the court will hear our pleas," Orengo said shortly after concluding the submissions for the physical copies of their petition.
The Supreme Court has 14 days from Monday to hear the petition case and deliver a verdict.
