Zambian Super League side ZESCO United has mutually parted ways with Kenyan International John Mark Makwata.
Makwata joined ZESCO United last year having penned a 3-year deal.
ZESCO United football club Chief Executive Officer Richard Kabwe Mulenga confirmed the ex- AFC Leoapards striker exit , thanking him for his contribution towards the growth of the club.
“We have reached an agreement with Makwata to separate mutually. I wish to thank him for his services and his contribution towards the team’s title triumph this season,” Mulenga said.
Makwata joined ZESCO United last year adding to a list of Kenyan footballers who have been part of the club’s success in recent years.
Other Kenyan players who have played for the Ndola based club include Jesse Were, Ian Otieno, and David ' Calabar' Odhiambo
