President Uhuru Kenyatta and British Prime Minister Boris Johnson Thursday conducted virtual visits of two schools in the two nations.
President Kenyatta arrived at Westlands Primary School, Nairobi at noon for the tour while PM Johnson visited Cleves Primary School in Ferryhill, England.
According to a statement issued by State House Spokesperson Kanze Dena Mararo, the visits are part of the Global Partnership for Education ( GPE) Initiative.
Westland Primary School and Cleves Primary School are part of the Connecting Classrooms Through Global Learning ( CCGL)that provides opportunities for learners aged between 9-11 years to engage peers across countries on global issues such as climate action and gender equality.
