Simiyu Robinson Wanjala, a student of Murang'a High School is the top student nationwide in the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Examinations( KCSE).
Education Cabinet Secretary Prof George Magoha announced on Monday while releasing the results at Mtihani House, Nairobi.
Wanjala attained a mean score of 87.334.
Other top three students included Allan Udoma of Agoro Sare Secondary School and Sharon Chepnge'no Terer of Kenya High School who both scored 87.173.
The CS noted that out of the 15 top students, five were from Kenya High
He further announced that 143,140 students scored C+ and above this attaining the minimum University entry grade.
A total of 747,161 candidates sat for the examination, 893 scored A Plain.
