A Nairobi court on Monday issued a warrant of arrest for GoldenScape CEO Peter Wangai after he skipped a court session.
Mr Wangai is accused of defrauding Kenyans of millions of shillings through a fake greenhouse investment.
The matter will now be up for mention on May 17th
The embattled businessman failed to appear in court on March, with his lawyer informing the court that the businessman had tested positive for coronavirus and requested the matter to be postponed
The Director of Public Prosecution had expressed intention of preferring 360 criminal cases against Mr Wangai.
He however denied 21 counts of fraud-related cases.
