Kenya records 1,211 COVID-19 infections, 17 deaths

 Kenya has recorded 1,211 Covid-19 infections and 17 deaths from a sample size of 9,304 resulting in 833,004 cumulative tests.

The total number of positive cases recorded in the country is 76,404.

From the 1,211 new infections, 42 are foreigners while 1,169 are Kenyans.

489 of them are females whiles 722 are males. 

The oldest is 95 years old while the youngest is a one-month-old infant.

At the same time, the number of recoveries in the country has increased to 51,352 as 368 patients have recovered from the disease in the last 24 hours.

Unfortunately, fatalities have also increased to 1,366 as 17 patients have died of the disease.
