Montreal Impact player Victor Wanyama has sued controversial blogger Xtian Dela, and teen socialite Shakilla over sex allegations.
Wanyama filed the petition before the High Court. It reads in part, "Take note that the Application dated 6th October 2020 has been fixed for hearing on 10th November 2020 at Milimani Law Courts at 9:00am in the forenoon or soon after in the High Court at Nairobi.”
It continues," TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that if no appearance is made by yourself and your appointed advocate or someone authorised by law the matter will proceed and orders issued your absence notwithstanding.”
In a recent interview on Xtian's Instagram Live, Shakilla claimed that Wanyama paid her Sh700, 000 for having sex with her.
Since then the Harambee Star Captain through a statement on Twitter, vowed to take action and distanced himself from the viral mess.
In the interview, the teen socialite also mentioned other popular Kenyan celebrities, including renowned rapper, Kaligraph Jones, claiming that she had sexual relations with them.
Although Shakilla apologized to Kaligraph publicly for mentioning him in the list, she refused to retract what she said about others in the list, including Wanyama.
