Nominated MP David Sankok's son shoot himself dead

Tragdey has struck the family of nominated MP David ole Sankok after his teenage son died in a shooting incident under unclear circumstances. 

According to sources privy to the incident, police officers responded to a distress call from the MP's Narok home after his second born child Memusi Sankok, 15 shot himself with a gun. 

While confirming the incident, the area Sub-County Police Commander Isaac Ogembo said the incident happened on Monday at 3:30pm.

"It was reported that a juvenile aged 15 years and a son to nominated MP David Sankok had shot himself using the gun belonging to his father," said Mr Ogembo.

Detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) combed the home and found the body of the boy lying in a pool of blood with a gun beside it. 

Preliminary investigations reveal that the bullet entered through the chin and exited through the top of the head.
