Bukayo Saka has withdrawn from the England training camp after testing positive Covid-19.
The winger had been picked by Gareth Southgate for the upcoming international friendlies against Switzerland and the Ivory Coast respectively, but the star returned a positive test on Thursday.
Saka tested negative for coronavirus upon arrival at England's camp on Tuesday, but he missed training on Wednesday and was forced to remain inside his hotel room at St George's Park.
Taking to his social media handle, Saka expressed how disappointed he was by the news.
"I am gutted to withdraw from England camp but I have tested positive for Covid-19 and I will be isolating until I am negative," he tweeted.
"I’ll be supporting the boys from home this weekend and I can’t wait to be being back doing what I love soon."
