Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria has announced that he will be contesting for the Kiambu governor seat in the August polls.
The MP made the announcement on Saturday through his official social media handles.
"The voice of the people is the voice of God. So help me God. Under your wings I feel safe," Kuria tweeted.
The MP will contest on his Chama Cha Kazi party ticket.
Kuria had earlier announced that he will not be defending his seat in the August polls.
He will now face off incumbent James Nyoro, former governors William Kabogo and Ferdinand Waititu, Senator Kimani Wamatangi and MP Jungle whom all have decalred interest in the seat
