The legislator spent Thursday night in police custody pending a ruling on an application by the prosecution to hold her for five days pending conclusion of investigations into the matter.
Ms Jematia was appeared before Kabarnet Law Courts Resident Magistrate Nerolyne Idagwa .
The court further ordered her to avoid public rallies and directed that she appear before DCI offices on daily basis from 9am for the next five days sought by the prosecution to complete investigations.
Through her lawyers led by Manaseh Tunen, the lawmaker had on Thursday requested the court to allow her to be taken for treatment at a private hospital in Kabarnet town since she is suffering from ulcers.
Jematia was arrested on Wednesday for allegedly threatening to arm Baringo residents to protect themselves against bandits.
