Mitumba man assures fans that he is still in partnership with Devine Collections

 Steve Mayau Sande, popularly known as "Mtumba Man" has assured concerned fans that his still in partnership with Devine Collections.

This follows speculations from a section of his fans that his five-year deal with the clothing store was the cause of his breakdown when he went 
Live on his social media. 

In his Live video on Saturday night, got emotional, while recounting the struggles he has faced in life.

Mayau told his fans that before he got famous for his job as a mtumba seller, there are people who had tried to take advantage of him with another demanding a sexual favor in exchange of a job opportunity. 

He therefore clarified that emotional during the Live broadcast to his fans because of remembering those moments of desperation. 

Mayau deleted the videos from the Live session causing the fans who had watched them to express their concerns on subsequent posts by the social media celebrity.

However, on Sunday morning he told a local publication that is well and his current deal with Devine Collections is progressing well.

He said, "We were just having fun, hata sikujua watu wangeichukulia hivo. Kusema ukweli, Devine are like family now. They took me from a place where I was so desperate and now I'm doing well. Hata I'm about to release some of my songs kutoka kesho [Monday]." 

"Acha mafans wajue Devine wananitreat poa and I owe them for even kama 80% of my success," he added.

Mayau confirmed he had received the contract which would put him in business with Devine for the next five years, adding that he will sign it. 

He stated, "In fact ilitumwa ni mimi sikuwa nimesign but I will sign it na ni renewable kwa hivyo hakuna noma, kila kitu iko sawa na mimi niko Sawa."
