Former Vihiga Queens head coach Alex Alumirah has been named as the new Harambee Starlets coach.
Alumirah was appointed by the Football Kenya Federation Caretaker Committee led by Justice(Rtd) Aaron Ringera.
Alumirah will be assisted by former Starlets captain Ann Aluoch and Benta Achieng while Martha Karimi will serve as the new Team Manager.
During his stint at Vihiga Queen, he led the team to win four consecutive titles before leaving for Tanzania last season.
"It is a great honor and I look forward to guiding this team to the best of my ability, and with the full support of the FKF CC, we shall guide this team to AWCON qualification,” said Alumira shortly after his unveiling
Alumira’s contract will run until the end of the mandate of the caretaker committee.
