Safaricom has issued a notice, stating that all M-PESA services will be disrupted on Tuesday night due to a scheduled internal maintenance of the service’s systems.
According to the telco, all transactions will be disrupted.
The maintenance is scheduled to take place from Tuesday, October 19 from 11:59 PM to Wednesday, October 20 at 4:00 AM.
Apart from the mobile banking services, the purchase of airtime from a customer’s M-PESA account will be unavailable during the maintenance period.
Safaricom stated, “The timing of this maintenance activity has been planned to result in the least of inconvenience to our customers. We apologise for any inconvenience that may be caused…,”
