Harambee Stars in Kigali for World Cup Qualifier

Kenya's national football team, Harambee Stars, are already in Kigali, Rwanda for their 2022 FIFA World Cup Qualifier against Rwanda’s Amavubi (The Wasps) scheduled for Sunday.

After they drew 0-0 with Uganda in their opening preliminary qualifying clash at the Nyayo National Stadium, Nairobi on Thursday, the Stars left the Country for Rwanda. 

Rwanda’s Amavubi sit bottom of Group E after losing to Mali l-0 in their opening their bid to reach the 2022 finals in Qatar.

The Stars are therefore eyeing maximum points against the hosts. 

Heavyweight contenders Cameroon, Ghana, Ivory Coast and Nigeria are among the seven African qualifiers across the continent scheduled on Friday.
