Multiple Kenya Premier League champions Gor Mahia FC have unveiled their new head coach.
Gor Mahia appointed former Southampton and Stoke City keeper Mark Harrison as their new coach.
The Briton 60, will be replacing Portuguese tactician Manuel Vaz Pinto who parted ways with the club last month.
Gor Mahia Chairman Ambrose Rachier said the club had settled on Harrison because of his experience in coaching African clubs despite receiving numerous applications.
"We had many applicants but we decided to pick Harrison as the man as he understands the African football environment having worked with a number of teams previously.”said Rachier.
Harrison Has coached 13 clubs in the continent including South Africa's Chippa United and Gold Arrow, Zimbabwe's Harare City as well as Botswana's Township Rollers.
He will be assisted by Sammy ' Pamzo' Omollo who has been serving as the club's interim coach following Vaz Pinto's departure.
