Manchester United manager Ole Gunner Solskjaer has signed a new contract with the club until 2024 with an option of extending it by a year.
Solskjaer a former Manchester United striker stepped in as a caretaker boss at Old Trafford in 2018 replacing Jose Mourinho
After leading the Red Devils to 14 wins from 19 matches, Solskjaer was rewarded with a three-year contract in 2019 which was set to end in the 2021/22 season.
United finished second in the Premier League last season and also reached the finals of the Europa League where they lost to La Liga side Villareal on penalties.
