Italy goalkeeper Donnarumma joins PSG

Italian shot-stopper Gianluigi Donnarumma has penned a five-year deal with PSG days after leaving Serie A club AC Milan on a free transfer, PSG said on Thursday.


Donnarumma who was crowned Euro 2020 player of the tournament after Italy's victory over England in the final helped AC Milan finish second in the Serie A last season to secure Champions League qualification for the first time since 2013-14.

The 22-year-old has made 215  appearances in the Serie A-League.


He became the youngest goalkeeper in Italian national team history at 17 years and 189 days during a match against France in 2016.


" Iam delighted to be part of this huge club,” Donnarumma said.


" I feel ready to take on this new challenge and continue to grow here in Paris, I want to win as much as possible and to bring joy to the supporters."
