Tejveer Rai fondly known as Tej of the Kabras Racing Team crashed out of the World Rally Championship Safari Rally after his car R5 rolled several times at Kedong on Friday.
Tej went first out before his VW GTI Polo nose-dived during the second day of Safari Rally.
Reports indicate that Tejveer and his navigator Gareth Dawe suffered minor injuries. They were airlifted to Nairobi for treatment.
Elsewhere, Belgian Thierry Neuville led Safari Rally Kenya on Friday morning.
According to the WRC website, Neuville driving a Hyundai i20 held a 5.1-second advantage over Kalle Ravanipir''a who was driving a Toyota Yaris.
