Kenyans yet to register for Huduma Namba cards will soon get the opportunity to register as the government is set to roll out the second phase of registration.
Speaking to the press on Wednesday, Government Spokesperson Colonel Rtd.Cyrus Oguna said the government will soon kick off the registration exercise after completing the requisite logistic plans.
" For those who might not have been able to register during phase one, for one reason or another, we are informing our people that phase two of registration is ready to roll out,” said Oguna.
At the same time, Oguna has appealed to Kenyans who registered for the cards to collect them upon the receipt of notification.
According to Oguna, close to 5.5 million Huduma cards have been processed but only 3 million have been collected.
Huduma Namba cards are set to replace the Identification Cards ( IDs) .
