The funeral service of industrialist Dr Chris Kirubi will be held at the Faith Evangelistic Ministry church(FEM ) in Karen, Nairobi on Friday, June 18th at 11 am.
The late industrialist will then be buried at his Thika Farm on Saturday, June 19th.
In order to adhere to the COVID-19 protocols, the organizing committee has encouraged guests to attend the services virtually.
Chris Kirubi fondly known as DJ CK passed away on Monday, June 14th
Kirubi had been battling cancer since 2016.
Kirubi, the chairperson of the Capital Group Limited was named the second richest Kenyan by Forbes in 2011.
He also made to the list of the top 40 African richest people having been listed at position 31 with an estimated net worth of Sh $ 300 million.
President Uhuru Kenyatta in his message of condolences to the family mourned Dr Kirubi as a seasoned businessman and industrialist who founded and successfully managed some of the country's largest corporation.
He described him as a great mentor and business coach who helped raise a generation of entrepreneurs and corporate leaders.
Dr Kirubi is survived by two children Robert Kirubi and Mary Ann Musangi
