Harambee Stars head coach Jacob' Ghost' Mulee is among several Kenyans stranded in India, following the government's decision to suspend passenger flights to and from the Asian country.
According to news reports, the coach and his elder brother have been receiving treatment at a New Delhi hospital for the past three weeks.
"I thank God we have recovered and thank Kenyans for the support and prayers," he told Nation.
"The doctors discharged us and we have been in touch with the Kenyan High Commission here while waiting for Health CS Mutahi Kagwe to share the travel arrangements so we can return home."he added.
Health Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe last week announced the suspension of passenger flights to and from India for 14 days following a surge in COVID-19 cases in the country.
CS Kagwe also stated that passengers transiting through India will undergo a mandatory 14-day quarantine.
On April 24th, Mulee 52 assured his fan and followers that he was well after he underwent a medical procedure.
In an Instagram post, he wrote " We thank God for a successful procedure, well-taken care of, "
He however didn't delve much into details of the treatment.
