Tusker FC assistant coach Charles Okere has been appointed the head coach of the women's football team Harambee Starlets.
Okere who takes over from long-serving tactician David Ouma will be assisted by Godfrey Oduor and Mildred Cheche, the football Kenya Federation announced on Monday.
Ouma has resigned from both guiding the national team and at the federation
His first assignment will be on April 24th when Starlet takes on Zambia in an international friendly in Lusaka.
