Politician Karen Nyamu has responded to sensational Kikuyu singer Samidoh's public apology to his family and fans over a video she shared of him sharing a moment with their child.
According to Nyamu, Samidoh's baby mama, the singer was avoiding reality, in the context of their clandestine relationship.
Hours after Samidoh's apology post, Nyamu responded by saying Samidoh was giving half-truths in his explanation on their previously secret relationship. She added that apologies would only make him a slave.
“Running away from reality mpaka lini….It was easier to declare the whole truth and not just half of it because you will soon become a slave to apologies,” Nyamu wrote in a series of posts on her Insta-story.
She went further to share a screenshot of her chat conversation with the Samidoh hours before he issued his public apology to his wife.
The chats, which she later deleted, showed that Samidoh allegedly begged her for even 30 minutes to talk about their explosive affair.
He urged Nyamu to stop insulting him even if their relationship had failed.
“Hypocrisy is apologizing then begging on WhatsApp hehe sema live, ” Nyamu captioned one of the screenshots.
In his apology on Tuesday, Samidoh termed the relationship which led to the birth of their son a mistake he regrets. However, he affirmed that he supports his child both emotionally and financially.
