Joe Biden took the lead in the key battleground state Pennsylvania on Friday where a win for him would propel him past the magic number 270 needed for him to win the race to White House.
According to the latest official data, Biden had soared past President Donald Trump with more than 5,000 votes.
Biden currently has 264 electoral votes against Trump's 214.
If Biden manages to win Pennsylvania a state the incumbent Donald Trump won in 2016 and it's 20 electoral votes he would have passed the threshold.
The Democrat candidate is currently leading in key states of Arizona, Nevada and Georgia
Several US media houses have called the state of Arizona in Biden's favour.
