Biden gets more security as he inches toward win, report

The US Secret Service has deployed additional security to Democrat Joe Biden as chances increased, indicating that he will be the 46th US President, the Washington Post reported Friday.


According to the news outlet, the Secret Service sent an additional squad of agents to Biden's campaign headquarters in Delaware as expectation rose that the former Vice President would be able to be declared the President, the post further reported.


The security agency under the Department of Homeland is tasked with protecting the White House, Senior government officials, visiting high officials and other.

If Biden is declared the President-elect, Secret Service is expected to ramp his security to a higher level.
