Tanasha Donna: Why I parted ways with my manager Castro

Kenyan songstress Tanasha Donna has revealed the reason why she parted ways with her manager and long-time friend David Munyua aka  African Castro.

During an Instagram live session, she said that she still has upcoming projects with Castro and denied claims that she abandoned him when he was in need of a friend.

Castro had revealed his distress in October when he said his father was hospitalized for two months and the family had to leverage their house to get him out of the hospital.

Tanasha therefore said that they parted ways because he was unfit to manage him. She clarified that it was a mutual understanding.

“We have so many upcoming projects, so those are lies. I want to clarify that we even met yesterday and spoke about it. Everyone these days is just making assumptions. People believe what they see out there without having concrete proof about what the reality of the situation is," she said.

Her current manager is Ciza Obare.

African Castro is recognized as one of the top talent managers in Kenya. He has worked with popular talents such as Tracy Wanjiru, Tracy Macharia, Martin Kimathi, Sean Andrews, Seth Gor and Shaq The Yungin.

Castro spoke to local publication and also confirmed, “It was amicable, and I will now be embarking on a different journey with my new company Established African.”
