Panic as man dies in Mombasa bound bus

A man died in a Mombasa bound bus in Nairobi in unclear circumstances.

This caused panic in the bus as other passengers dashed out some suspecting he died of COVID-19 pandemic.

The incident happened at the bus stop as the bus was preparing to leave for Mombasa.

The driver of the bus was forced to drive it to Central police station where police had to call for health officials to handle the body amid more panic.

The body was moved to City mortuary where it will be subjected to autopsy to establish the cause of the death.

Cases of Covid-19 pandemic are on the rise in the country and more than 1300 fatalities have been recorded in the country so far.
