KBC anchor Purity Museo shares her Covid-19 experience

KBC news anchor Purity Museo has shared her Covid-19 experience as she tested positive in October 2020.

She explained that battling the disease came with some major challenges.

Her worst fears were confirmed when she went for a Covid-19 test.

Purity said, "I felt chills down my spine. Will I die? The stigma was more painful than the chest pains I experienced two days after testing positive."

The symptoms she experienced were a severe headache, fever, body pains and loss of smell. She also developed a rash on her face, back pains and began to diarrhea two days later.

The anchor revealed that the stigma she experienced during her recovery period worsened her situation.

"But stigma! I was called and asked ‘I hope you did not infect me with the virus!’ Friends disappeared," Purity noted
