Kenya has recorded 711 more Covid-19 cases from 6,672 samples tested in the last 24 hours.
On Sunday, November 29 the Ministry of Health announced that the total case load in the country stands at 83,316.
The new cases comprise of 19 foreigners and 692 Kenyans.
243 are female and 468 male. The oldest cases is 92 years old while the youngest is 1 year old.
Unfortunately, 7 patients succumbed to the disease bringing the fatality to 1,452.
However, 576 recoveries have been recorded. 469 of the recovered patients were from the home-based care program while 107 were from various hospitals around the country
Currently, the total number of recoveries is 54,975.
1,262 patients are admitted in various health facilities in the country while 7,806 are on home-based isolation and care.
The total number of Covid-19 patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is 68. 42 of them are on ventilatory support and 24 on supplemental oxygen.
96 patients are separately on supplementary oxygen and 73 of them are in the general wards. The rest are in the High Dependency Unit (HDU).
