Inspekta Mwala actor and Radio Citizen Presenter Munai General aka Abdi has been discharged from hospital where he has been receiving treatment for the injuries he survived in a road accident.
The actor explained he was involved in the accident along Murang’a Road while heading home.
The vehicle he was in overturned after its front tyre burst.
Abdi narrated, “I was on my way home when the front tyre burst and our vehicle overturned. Luckily I did not get any fractures but I had several injuries. Doctors performed several tests to ensure there were no internal injuries but I had to undergo grafting since I had several scratches on my skin."
The media personality showed hopefulness in his recovery as he was relieved to be discharged.
He added, “I am feeling much better and I will continue recuperating at home."
There was an appeal on social media earlier
requesting well-wishers to help Abdi clear a Sh2.5million hospital bill balance.
However, the actor confirmed that it was already settled by his employers. Abdi said that his insurance cover catered for Sh1million.
He expressed his gratitude towards everyone who supported him financially, emotionally, and in prayers.
