A man died at the parking lot of Kenyatta National Hospital, Kenya's largest referral hospital where a strike of over 4,000 workers paralyzed operations on Monday.
The boda boda rider was taken to the hospital by his friend following an accident.
The hospital management has however refuted claims that the patient died because of negligence arguing he was in a critical state.
Due to the strike, the services at the hospital were disrupted and patients left unattended.
The striking medics are accusing the Salary and Renumeration Commission(SRC) of failing to approve the Ksh 301 million passed by the National Assembly and approved by the treasury in 2012.
