The total caseload of coronavirus infections in the country has risen to 38,168 after 53 more people tested positive.
The new cases are from 1,107 samples tested in the last 24 hours and consist of 32 males and 21 females who include 50 Kenyans and 3 foreigners aged between 1 and 76 years.
In a statement sent out to the media on Monday, the ministry of health announced that 541,415 samples have so far been tested in the country.
The cases are distributed as follows; Nairobi 11, Meru 11, Kiambu 6, Nakuru 4, Kajiado 3, Garissa 2, Busia 2, Laikipia 2, Machakos 2, Makueni 1, Embu 1, Kisumu 1 and Kwale 1.
60 new recoveries were also registered; 36 being patients from the home-based care system and 24 from various hospitals.
The death toll from the virus also rose to 700 after 9 patients succumbed to the virus.
