World 5,000m champion Hellen Obiri is the winner of this year's Great Manchester Run that went down in the United Kingdom on Sunday.
Obiri sailed to victory after crossing the line in 30 minutes and 15 seconds ahead of Great Britain’s Eilish Mccolgan and Kenya's Ruth Chepng’etich who clocked 30:19 and 30:29 respectively.
In the men's race New Zealand’s Jake Robertson who has been training and living in Iten, Elgeyo Marakwet won the race after clocking 28:06 ahead of Australia’s Jack Rayner (28:16) and Antonio Abadaia (28:22) who came in second and third respectively.
