Emile Arao appointed new KCAA Director General

Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA) has appointed Emile Nguza Arao as it's new Director-General.

He replaces Captain Gilbert Kibe whose seven-year term at the authority  lapses on April 22,2022.

Arao's appointment  follows the completion of a recruitment exercise by the KCCA board which kicked off on February 1.

Prior to his appointment as the KCAA boss, Mr Arao has been serving as  Executive Director at the East African Community’s Civil Aviation Safety and Security Oversight Agency (EAC-CASSOA).

He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Aircraft Engineering Technology and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (Aviation).
