Arsenal will again be without former captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang when they face Leeds United on Saturday as the Gabonese forward continues to face disciplinary action for returning to training late following a trip to France.
Arsenal Manager Mikel Arteta confirmed in his pre-game conference that he will be without the 32-year-old, the third game in a row that the striker has been left out of selection.
“No, he’s not available for selection,” said Arteta when asked about the possibility of Aubameyang’s involvement.
“For this game he’s not available for selection,” he added.
Besides being sidelined from the club activities, Aubameyang was on Tuesday stripped of the captaincy.
Arsenal have managed to register two consecutive wins against Southampton and West Ham, scooping six points.
A win against Leeds will take Arsenal to within five points off third-placed Chelsea.
