Sacked Commissioner General of Kenya Prisons Service Wycliffe Ogalo was on Wednesday arrested over the Kamiti Maximum Security Prison jailbreak.
Ogalo was arrested at Magereza House alongside two other top prisons officers
Anti-Terror Police Unit officer arrived at Magereza House minutes to 5 pm arresting the trio and whisking them away to the DCI hdq along Kiambu road for interrogation.
Ogalo's arrest comes hours after President Uhuru Kenyatta sacked him as the Prisons boss following a security breach at Kamiti Maximum Prison that led to the escape of three terror convicts.
President Kenyatta has since appointed and witnessed the swearing-in of Brigadier ( Rtd) John Kibosa Warioba as the new Commissioner-General.
