Ralf Rangnick is set to be named as Manchester United's interim manager.
Rangnick is set to replace Ole Gunnar Solskjaer who was sacked last week.
The 63-year-old joins the Premier League giants from the Russian side Lokomotiv Moscow where he served as the head of sports and development.
He is expected to guide Man United for the remainder of the season, but will not be available for the clash against Chelsea on Sunday, due to work permit issues.
Solskjaer was sacked on Sunday following a disappointing 4-1 loss against Watford a result that left the Red Devils 8th in the league and 12 points below the league leaders Chelsea.
Prior to joining Lokomotiv Moscow, the German tactician spent time managing at RB Leipzig, Hoffenheim, Schalke and Hannover
