A woman in Nairobi was charged with stealing two silver wrist watches from worth Sh250,000 from the house of former Majority Leader of the National Assembly Aden Duale.
Mediatrix Ajiambo Oduor was arraigned before a Makadara law court where she pleaded not guilty before senior principal magistrate Stephen Jalang’o.
According to the court hearing, Ajiambo committed the offence on August 3 at around 10:30pm at Muthaiga North in Nairobi county.
The suspected said, “I am not guilty, your honour. These are just lies from Duale.”
She was freed on a cash bail of Sh30,000 with the magistrate directing the matter to be mentioned on August 27 and the hearing to begin on November 5.
