Kenya's Humprey Kayange has been appointed to the International Olympic Committee Athletes' Commission for a four-year term.
Kayange who sits at the National Olympic Committee of Kenya( NOCK) as an athlete representative was appointed by IOC President Thomas Bach on Friday.
Kayange becomes the second Kenyan to sit in the IOC Executive Board, with the other being Olympic Kenya President Paul Tergat who is an IOC member and was recently appoint to the disciplinary board.
Kayange led Shujaas at the 2016 Rio Olympics Games before he retired.
